When did TRASHY GOODS start?
TRASHY GOODS was started by two style-simpatico friends in August 2023.
Where are you located? Can I buy in person?
We are based in New York Hudson Valley. We don’t currently have an in-person location.
PRODUCTS
What are your products made from?
Our products are made from recycled plastics, cork, denim and fabrics — materials saved from becoming ocean and landfill bound waste through innovative, patented methods. Beautiful products and reducing the proverbial pile? Win-win!
Where are your products produced?
We partner with family-owned and small-batch manufactures all over the world -
primarily in Germany, Portugal, and China - to bring our table top collection to market, and to you. We source our production partners based on the history of that particular craft in that particular place.
How do I take care of my TRASHY GOODS products?
A simple wipe with a damp towel or a spritz with a plant-based cleaner will do the trick!
Can I commission a custom design?
Although we’d love to be able to do this for individual people, we just don’t have that capacity right now. If you’re looking for a large order of custom pieces, or would like to join our trade program, apply here.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
How do I cancel or change my order?
We will be able to cancel or change an order only if our shipping team hasn't packed your item. Please make sure to email our Care team at hello@trashygoods.com as soon as
possible with a note and your order number.
What is the return policy?
You’re welcome to return your order for a full refund or exchange your order for something else within 30 days of the original purchase date, provided the items are unused, in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging. If your returned items arrive back to us broken or damaged in any way, we cannot accept the return. Please contact hello@trashygoods.com
RETURN SHIPPING: We do not refund original shipping costs. Please note, return shipping is considered the responsibility of the purchaser.
What if a package is stolen?
All orders from TRASHY GOODS are insured from warehouse departure, through transit,
up until delivery. Please note, once the carrier successfully delivers to your specified address, we are not responsible for any stolen goods.
Will my order be charged sales tax?
Depends! Where do you live? In accordance with federal tax laws, we collect sales tax on all purchases in any state that requires us to do so. Rates vary based on shipping address. If the order is taxable, shipping charges are also taxable.
What happens if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Upon receiving your order, please inspect the items and let us know within 48 hours of receipt of any issues or damages. We’ll gladly replace damaged or broken items right away.
Can I include a gift message in my order?
We’d love to include a note on your behalf! You can find directions to add a little personalization at checkout. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer gift wrapping at this time.
